Service Graphics acquires Octink
Service Graphics, the UK's leading graphics group, has acquired Octink - the Brentford-based display graphics, site hoardings, signage, and interior solutions specialists.
Octink is a leading UK marketing activation business with an outstanding reputation and client portfolio within the construction sector, delivering some of the most innovative and technically challenging building wraps and hoarding projects in the country. Operations are based in Brentford with over 90 employees. The management team, led by Will Tyler, will remain and continue to manage the business.
Service Graphics, a business within Paragon Group, is now the UK's largest graphics group employing almost 700 people and revenues of £80m.
Service Graphics creates visual experiences that connect people with brands, supplying leading high street retailers with in-store fabric graphics, window displays, and signage. Octink's focus within the construction sector gives Service Graphics Display significant market share in a new market sector. The inclusion of Octink in Service Graphics Display adds extensive resources and capabilities and provides a world-class location in South West London from which to service its metropolitan customer base.
The acquisition adds a more extensive offering for construction customers in Service Graphics Print & Design where there are significant existing relationships.
Martin Hutchings, Managing Director Service Graphics Display, said: "Our strategy is to grow our business through acquisition and with organic sales, to create visual experiences for our clients. We are targeting companies that offer entry to new markets or can increase market share within existing markets.
Octink's reputation within the construction sector was key to this purchase and why we approached Will and his team. They have built a fantastic business that services some of the biggest names in house building and property development. I am delighted that they share our vision and we welcome the Octink team to Service Graphics."
Will Tyler, CEO Octink, said: "Through joining Service Graphics, we are realising our ambition of providing our customers with a range of services and added value that will be unrivalled in the sector. The Octink team are looking forward to being at the centre of this new proposition.”
John Eager, CEO Paragon Graphic Services Division, said: "Our two most recent acquisitions, Image Factory and Octink, are great businesses that enhance the breadth and depth of capabilities of Service Graphics and will deliver increasing value to our customers. The acquisitions reflect Paragon's commitment to be the market-leading service provider of high impact visual communications in the UK and across Europe. We will continue to grow our business organically and through further acquisitions.”
